The Sing Off
For those of you who have started watching the Sing Off...This is by far my absolute favorite Acapella performance (for that matter any performance) and it just happens to have Jewel in it.
The song Water is Wide was performed by the Indigo Girls, Jewel and Sarah McLachlan during Lilith Faire in 1997. The Acapella part is at the end of the song. The harmonies are gorgeous and the acoustic guitar solo by the Indigo Girls is absolutely beautiful.
Four of my favorite singers brought together. I hope you stop and take a listen. If you are a fan of any of these girls, you will not be disappointed! Just Sayin :)
Monday
The Holidays are Here
Happy Holidays
I have decked the halls and am busy working in the studio making Jewelry for
my Etsy website and my new location at...
Recovered Treasures
I am now in a New Boutique in downtown Libertyville
Owned by one of my Best Gal Pals...Dawn and Kristin the owner of our sister store Serendipity so you can browse both at the same time.
We have some other fabulous girls working with us at both stores and not to mention Owen, Dawns husband who also owns the shop and works on Saturdays.
I couldn't ask for a better scenario.
I LOVE getting out of my house and being with people again.
Now that my girls are not around much...one away at college and the other just plain busy!
Mommy was lonely and needed an outlet and can I say it's been great.
You can find me there on Wednesdays and Fridays and my entire Jewelry Collection
is always available there.
I am working on some new plans for 2014 so check back :)
Enjoy your Holiday's

What's Up
Motherhood brings as much joy as ever, but it still brings boredom, exhaustion, and sorrow too. Nothing else ever will make you as happy or as sad, as proud or as tired, for nothing is quite as hard as helping a person develop his own individuality especially while you struggle to keep your own.
I spent my mothers day with my girls and hubby at my favorite place a flea market! The one day of the year I can get the whole family out to see my little slice of heaven.

I spent my mothers day with my girls and hubby at my favorite place a flea market! The one day of the year I can get the whole family out to see my little slice of heaven.
I had such a busy weekend... Drama Darling came home from college and Baby girl went to her Junior Prom.
Kelsey and I had so much fun dolling her up for her first prom! She looked gorgeous. We had a beautiful, but chilly day to go out and get some great pictures.
Even with a little Batting practice thrown in at Logan's (her boyfriend) fathers request. Batting in style.
Jen, Logan's mom captured Courtney and Myself in what will be a picture I will cherish forever.
Now that the weekend is over it is time to get busy for my next show Hobnob in Danville, IL.
I am so excited to do this vintage and handmade goods show. I think it will be hard to leave room when packing my setup for everything I will want to bring home. Where there is a will, there is a way!
I will post pictures throughout the next few weeks of what I will be bringing and some of the other vendors that will be there and links to their sites. So stay tuned and come out to the show if you like what you see!
